Maxim88 baccarat and blackjack cashback on Evolution tables

The numbers below are the whole offer. Minimum bet, ceiling, turnover and validity are set per promotion, so read the row that matches the game you play.

Promotion	Trigger	Min bet	Pays	Turnover	Valid
Baccarat 8 Loss 9	Natural 8 loses to Natural 9 on Banker or Player	SGD 500	100% up to SGD 1,288	3x	7 days
Blackjack Unbeatable 5	Lose holding at least 5 cards	SGD 500	100% up to SGD 1,288	3x	7 days
8 Lucky Streak	8 wins in a row	SGD 1,000 total over 8 rounds	SGD 188 to SGD 1,888	Not published	30 days

Because 8 Lucky Streak measures your total valid bet across eight rounds rather than a single stake, SGD 1,000 spread over those rounds averages SGD 125 a hand. The two cashback promotions work the other way: they look at one bet, and that bet has to be SGD 500 or more before the hand qualifies at all.

All three run on Evolution, so they begin where the live dealer rooms sit in our main lobby. Each one also allows a single claim per day, and neither cashback promotion can be combined with other Maxim88 promotions, which matters if you already have a welcome or reload bonus running in the same provider wallet.

This baccarat cashback covers one specific defeat. You hold a Natural 8 from the first two cards, the other side turns over a Natural 9, and the hand is gone before a third card is ever dealt. In baccarat a Natural is a two-card total of 8 or 9, and a Natural 9 beats a Natural 8 outright, so there is nothing to play and no decision to make. We give the bet back.

What counts

Every Evolution baccarat table qualifies except Always 8 Baccarat and Always 9 Baccarat, which are excluded. The hand must be a true two-card Natural 8: a total of 8 reached after a draw does not qualify, and a Natural 8 beaten by anything other than a Natural 9 does not either. Only the main Banker or Player bet is counted, so side bets are outside the promotion even when they are placed in the same round. The qualifying bet starts at SGD 500.

Worked example

Take the straightforward case. You bet SGD 1,000 on Player, Player shows 8, Banker shows 9, and the round is settled. The refund is 100% of that bet, so SGD 1,000 comes back as bonus credit, carrying 3x turnover. There is no deposit inside the credit, so the multiple applies to the refund itself: SGD 1,000 at 3x is SGD 3,000 of valid bets inside 7 days.

Go higher and the ceiling arrives. A SGD 2,000 bet in the same situation returns SGD 1,288, not SGD 2,000, since SGD 1,288 is the maximum on this card. That credit asks for SGD 3,864 of turnover at 3x. A SGD 500 bet, the smallest that qualifies, returns SGD 500 and asks for SGD 1,500.

Claiming

Timing decides this promotion. The window is 24 hours from the game, one claim per day, and verification happens on our side before anything is credited.

1. Play an eligible table. Bet SGD 500 or more on Banker or Player at an Evolution baccarat table other than Always 8 or Always 9.
2. Lose the hand. A two-card Natural 8 falls to a Natural 9.
3. Contact Customer Service. Message within 24 hours of that game.
4. Give the round details. Our team verifies the hand against your play.
5. Receive the credit. The bonus reaches your Evolution wallet within 48 hours of verification, then needs 3x turnover inside 7 days.

The credit lands in the Evolution wallet specifically, so plan to clear it on Evolution games. It cannot be combined with other Maxim88 promotions, and once the 7 days pass the credit is finished whether or not the turnover was completed.

Maxim88 Blackjack Unbeatable 5 is the blackjack equivalent, and it pays on a hand that took real care to build. Five cards or more, a total of 21 or under, no bust, and the dealer still wins. In blackjack a five-card hand that stays under 22 is an uncommon result, which is exactly why losing one stings. On all Evolution Blackjack tables and Salon Privé Blackjack tables, a bet of SGD 500 or more in that situation comes back in full, up to SGD 1,288.

The structure matches 8 Loss 9 almost line for line:

• Minimum qualifying bet SGD 500, refund 100%, ceiling SGD 1,288.
• Turnover 3x, valid 7 days from credit.
• Eligibility is automatic, so the hand is recognised without any opt-in beforehand.
• One claim per day, made through Customer Service within 24 hours of the game.
• Credited to your Evolution wallet within 48 hours, and not combinable with other Maxim88 promotions.

Automatic eligibility is not the same as automatic payment. You still have to open Live Chat or contact Customer Service inside that 24-hour window and point to the hand, because the refund is released after the round has been checked.

The Maxim88 lucky streak works the other way round. Eight consecutive winning rounds on Banker or Player pay a fixed bonus, sized by how much you staked across those eight rounds in total. The bonus is credited as an angpow rather than as a refund, and the ladder starts at a total of SGD 1,000.

Total valid bet over 8 rounds	Bonus
SGD 1,000	SGD 188
SGD 5,000	SGD 388
SGD 20,000	SGD 888
SGD 50,000	SGD 1,288
SGD 88,888	SGD 1,888

Only standard Evolution live baccarat counts: Player paying 1:1 and Banker paying 1:1 no-commission or 0.95 commission. Special-feature baccarat is outside the promotion. A tie or a loss breaks the run, and if you place several bets inside one round, that round still counts as one win.

Those eight rounds should be played on standard tables from the Evo Club line-up, where every SGD 100 of valid bets on Evolution also earns a ticket for the weekly Evolution Draw. Claim the streak through Customer Service within 24 hours of the last of the eight games, once a day at most. The angpow arrives within 48 hours and the bonus stays valid for 30 days.

All three cards reward a pattern, and it is easy to read them as a reason to bet bigger. They are not that. In baccarat the house edge on Banker and Player is the same on every hand, and a run of eight wins is a sequence of independent rounds, not momentum you can lean on. A full refund on one losing hand returns that bet and nothing else, so a session that lost SGD 6,000 is still a session that lost SGD 6,000 after a SGD 1,288 refund.

The SGD 500 minimum also tells you who these promotions are built for. They apply to players already betting at that level on Evolution tables; staking SGD 500 a hand to make yourself eligible is the wrong order of operations. And since every refund arrives as bonus credit with 3x turnover and a 7-day clock, the money asks for more play before it can be withdrawn, it is not a payout you can simply take.

Set the amount you are prepared to lose before you sit down, and stop at it regardless of what the last shoe did. If a refund starts to feel like a reason to keep going, setting a limit or a break is the more sensible response. Play is for readers aged 21 and over, and if gambling is causing harm, the National Council on Problem Gambling helpline is 1800-6-668-668.

Baccarat 8 Loss 9 and Blackjack Unbeatable 5 both require a bet of SGD 500 or more on an Evolution table, and both are claimed from Customer Service within 24 hours of the hand.
